My Discus Fish Secrets ReviewMost of us who care and breed discus fish most likely know that it is a bit of an art form. Lots of people start caring and breeding discus and do not succeed in doing this each and every year simply because they don't have all the knowledge of the assistance and optimal conditions that is required to do this. How do I know this? Well I've been there myself! For years I had tried to breed discus fish only to be disappointed by my attempts. Every occasion I tried the fish would lay their eggs and then just eat them. My fish would also die for no apparent reason also. This became a bit an expensive hobby and I was nowhere near my ambition of breeding discus fish as a business, as I wanted.I needed help so I turned to the aquarium where I had bought the fish but they were no help. They sold me that they only sold the fish and didn't breed them. This became a typical answer with several others that I had tried and I was becoming a bit disheartened to say the least. So one night as a last resort I sat down in front of the computer and had one final look to see if I could find the answers I wanted over the internet. What I found after only a couple of minutes was the answers I had been looking for. You see I found a link to this book called "Discus Fish Secrets" by a breeder called Rob Clark. He's been caring and breeding discus fish for over 10 years and had compiled his knowledge into a quick and easy guide. He cuts out all the unnecessary filler that most guides have and just gives you the information that works. And oh did it work! Within just a few weeks I had my tanks set up correctly and my fish had started to breed. I followed Robs guide word for word and it has now helped me realize my dream of breeding discus fish for a living. I now have over 100 discus in my fish house! Now like most people, I was little skeptical about buying information online. We've all heard of so many scams out there but I cannot recommend "Discus Fish Secrets" enough. This really is the real deal and in my opinion you get far more than you pay for.Verdict:Whenever you are experiencing difficulties caring and or breeding for your discus fish then "Discus Fish Secrets" is going to be be the answer to your problems. The tips and tricks contained in this guide is concise and informative. I have used this information myself with exceptionally great results and can't recommend it enough. Goldfish are popular and beautiful pets. They do require more care than you might think at first. Before you buy a goldfish you should be committed to giving it the best care possible by feeding it properly and maintaining its habitat. With simple, regular care, your goldfish will live long happy lives and provide you with many peaceful fish-watching days.

Before buying your first goldfish, you must prepare his habitat. You may be tempted to buy a standard goldfish bowl, but think before making that choice. Wouldn't your fish be happier in a big aquarium where he could swim freely? In a small goldfish bowl he runs the risk of running low on oxygen, being poisoned by ammonia, and having stunted growth.

You surely don't want your goldfish to be lonely either. The more goldfish you have, the larger habitat you will need. It is best to avoid putting goldfish in an aquarium with other fish. They might get picked on. It is okay to put several goldfish in the same aquarium however, as long as it is big enough.

To determine the size of aquarium you need, you can use a simple formula. Multiply the depth in inches by the length in inches and divide that by 30. The number you get is the total inches of goldfish that can live in that space. For example, take an aquarium that is 20 inches long and 10 inches tall. Multiply those and you get 200 inches. Divide by 30 and you have roughly 7 inches. That means you can have two goldfish that are 3.5 inches long or three goldfish that are 2 inches long.

When setting up your aquarium be sure to choose just the right spot before you fill it with water and becomes too difficult to move. Don't set it in the direct sunlight or in a place in your home where there will be big changes in temperature such as next to a heater or doorway. Place it away from busy areas so you don't have to worry about the tank getting bumped or broken.

Clean your aquarium before putting your goldfish inside by washing it with clean water and soap. Wash all items that will be inside your aquarium like gravel and statues. Be sure to rinse away all traces of soapy residue. This is the same method you will use to periodically clean your aquarium once your goldfish are established.

Now you can fill your goldfish aquarium with water. You can use tap water. It is nice if the water is filtered but it is not necessary. Do not fill the tank all the way to the top or the fish might jump out. Keep your water temperature around 68 degrees Fahrenheit. When you need to change your water after your fish are established, do not shock them by changing the water all at once. Just take out about 10 to 20 percent of the water each week and replace it with clean water. When you need to clean the entire tank, transfer your goldfish into a container along with their old water.

Depending upon your climate and the temperature of your house, you may need a heater for your aquarium. As long as you can keep the water above 66 degrees, you won't need one however. You probably do want to use filters such as under gravel filters because these will help keep your goldfish aquarium clean and you won't have to work as hard on its upkeep plus your fish will stay healthier. When looking for a filter to buy, the important thing to look for is one that provides biological filtration rather than worrying about getting one that turns water over.

You may want to place live plants in your goldfish aquarium. It might be a good idea to establish your plants first before adding your goldfish. If plants are not taken care of properly, they can rot and add pollution or infection to the water. Plastic plants are an alternative option.

If your goldfish aquarium is healthy, algae will develop and is only a problem if its growth becomes rampant. The time to scrape algae is right before a water change so you can remove a large part of the floating debris. It is not necessary to remove all traces of algae although you may want to keep it off the sides of the aquarium so you can see your fish better.

To keep your goldfish bright and healthy, they need the proper diet. They enjoy nibbling on algae and live plants but also need supplemental food that you buy from the pet store. You can choose flake food, frozen food, or pellet food.

Pellet food has the potential to swell inside the stomach of the goldfish, which can make him sick. Therefore it is the least desirable choice. Flake food is commonly fortified so you can be sure your goldfish get all the nutrition they need. You can even feed your goldfish live food in the form of mealworms or other types of worms. Goldfish will eat just about anything.

The important thing to remember when feeding goldfish is that you do not overfeed them because that makes them unhealthy and also pollutes their habitat. You should feed your fish twice a day, at the same time each day so they establish a routine. Do not feed them more than they eat in a single feeding.

By following these simple goldfish care tips, your fish can lead long lives and provide you with a lot of pleasure. Although goldfish are small, they are just like any other pet and require dedicated, loving care in order to thrive.

Take a trip to Finland with your Dog

As the early time it is no longer a trouble to travel with your dog or cat to Finland. It is quite easy to get some travel requirements for your pet dog to take it to Finland. Same facility you will get for the cat. If you want to take your dog to Finland you need to know two kinds of pet regulations that depend on the weather the pet is coming from a European country or coming from a non European country.
When you bring a dog from the other countries of Europe to Finland then at first you need to get a pet passport of Europe from the vet of your country. To fill the pet eläinlääkäriasema [1] of the Europe you require a licensed veterinarian who is capable of it. The dog must be protected from the rabies when you travel to Finland or to Europe with your dog. The dog also has to be protected from tapeworm. This type of treatment is not essential for the dogs which are imported from Sweden, UK or Norway directly. Check your dog by the customs employees as needed when you arrive in Finland for the fitness of the dog into the Finland.
When you bring a dog from a non European country to Finland then you have to face slight more strict requirements for travelling with your pet. Firstly you need to get a passport from the vet of your country for the Europe. In this case also the passport should be filled by a certified veterinarian. The dog must be protected from rabies. You will have to give the vaccination to your dog at least twenty one days before your travelling. The dog also has to be protected from tapeworm. In this case the treatment should be given to the dog maximum 30days before your travelling to Finland. For checking your dog you need to choose a Helsinki-Vantaa airport when you are with your dog and for further inspection.

Welcome to My Fish Tank Adventures! I have to admit I am a fish lover. Right now we have four fish tanks in our home. These aquariums are a big part of our life. You may be wondering how we became fish enthusiasts?Well, it all started when I was a little girl. I love animals, all animals. On a visit to the pet shop to get our family dog groomed I ventured over to the aquarium displays. Of course the displays were empty, but on the other side of the aisle there were fish tanks with an abundance of species swimming about.I moved from tank to tank mesmerized by the graceful movements of the fish. My father walked up and saw my enthusiasm. He bought me a goldfish bowl, some accessories, and a spunky little goldfish. He said if I could take care of this fish, Santa might surprise me with a real aquarium and more fish.We took our fish and wares home and set everything up on my bedroom dresser. Every day I talked to my goldfish, fed him, and hoped Santa was watching so I could get my fish tank.Of course, the goldfish did not live very long. But I proved to be a very good caregiver. Santa brought me my first aquarium, your basic 10 gallon rectangular set up. I was thrilled. That fish tank is long gone. Now, I'm grown with kids of my own who share in my love of fish. We have a 65-gallon, a 29-gallon, a 20-gallon, and a 2-gallon. In this blog I will be sharing some fish tales, fish tips, and fish struggles.Click the fish to shop Your Fish Tank Adventures Amazon Store!View Privacy PolicyThank you for subscribing!

Generally your fish tank should be the largest size you can afford. Think of buying a fish tank as a long-term investment for you fish. Like your home, your aquarium is your fish's home.If you are starting out with a Betta or a small fish that does not mind confined spaces, you can go small, 1-2 gallons. Check out this handy free Betta guide. You also need to consider how many fish you want to keep in your aquarium. As far as fish number goes:1:1, 1-inch fish per 1-gallon of water for freshwater fish4:10 for marine aquariums (4-inch fish per 10-gallons) if fish are slow growing2:10 for marine aquariums (2-inch fish per 10-gallons) if you select fast growers If you are gearing up for something like neon tetras, you could get a 10-gallon fish tank and keep ten fish in it.However, many species grow large over time. A good example here would be Cichlids, my personal favorite. You may get a 2 inch juvenile and end up with a 8-inch whopper in a few years. Yes, these fish will live for years.Larger aquariums are also more stable than smaller fish tanks: Your water quality tends to hold better. With a larger fish tank, you can also get away with less frequent cleaning as opposed to a small fish tank. So, what size fish tank should I buy? You should purchase the fish and food after you have given your new fish tank a period of time to cycle. Some say to allow your tank at least a 24 hour period of time for cycling. I recommend you wait at least a week before introducing fish.If you give your fish tank a week to cycle, you will have plenty of opportunity to ensure it is maintaining a stable temperature, the filtration system is working properly, and a bit of biology can build up.A note about water temperature: Most fish can live comfortably in water that is between 72 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (22 and 27 Celsius). Once you have decided what species of fish you desire, you should determine what temperature your fish tank should be set.Click the fish to shop Your Fish Tank Adventures Amazon Store!View Privacy PolicyThank you for subscribing!
