When you bring a dog from a non European country to Finland then you have to face slight more strict requirements for travelling with your pet. Firstly you need to get a passport from the vet of your country for the Europe. In this case also the passport should be filled by a certified veterinarian. The dog must be protected from rabies. You will have to give the vaccination to your dog at least twenty one days before your travelling. The dog also has to be protected from tapeworm. In this case the treatment should be given to the dog maximum 30days before your travelling to Finland. For checking your dog you need to choose a Helsinki-Vantaa airport when you are with your dog and for further inspection.
